Well, I haven't exactly called truce. I still hate the smell of curry and get annoyed every time they jiggle their heads in agreement. lol.
Going away party for my officemate who shall be going back home to SriLanka (who happens to request that we all celebrate wearing Saree (and that is me not being a kill joy).
And boy you gotta give it to us, pictures say we rock the Saree's better, yea? :D
So last thursday, nasunog ang electricity room ng office building namin. Wala naman napano since it was a thursday and nobody was there.
So walang kuryente for like two days. Unang araw pinauwi kami. Second day, we were asked to file and manually write orders down. Take note walang kuryente ha.
Third day may kuryente na. Pero ang masaklap jan, walang AC. Sige dahil kailangan magtrabaho e pumasok ng pumasok kahit walang AC. Sa panahong ito, ni electric fan hindi ka mabibigyan ng malamig na hangin.
Can't help but recall what happened the first day. Nagpapaypay ang isang katrabaho ko ng pinay din. Lumabas ang amo sa kwarto nya sabay punta sa kanya at sabay sabi "Wag ka masyado maarte at mainit na bansa ang Pilipinas. Hindi lahat ng tao dun naka-AC".
Excuse me lang ha. Hindi porket Aleman sya at galing sya sa isa sa mga pinakamalalamig na bansa e may karapatan na syang magsalita nun.
At $17 for both, it's a bargain! (for cheapskates like me, yea). Too bad they don't sell it neither here nor in the Philippines. Found it online via Chuvaness but they only ship to the States. Already messaged Margs to see and check if she can get it for me and.... now I wait ;-))
To say that I do not miss the beach is such an understatement.
At exactly this month, this day and this minute, I should be packing and getting ready for my annual fix of sun, sea and sand adventure. But i'm not. Does that make me a loser?
I mean who wouldn't miss this?

Now what I need is a spoonful of patience. And add half a plate of waiting to that. Xoxo.
